Sales Terms and Conditions
All products are guaranteed to not be DOA. Unless otherwise specified, products offer a limited 1 year warranty. American West Surplus will repair, replace or refund for any products that prove defective. The warranty begins the day the product is received by the buyer. Products must be installed by a licensed and qualified professional. American West Surplus is not liable for any damages beyond the products we sell, repair costs, or other associated product failures. If items are sold “as is” they are not returnable and not covered by any warranty.
Most orders ship within 1 business day. Orders requiring reconditioning and custom orders require a 2-5 day lead time unless agreed differently. We ship via UPS and FEDEX for items under 150 pounds. All freight orders ship through common carriers sourced through our freight broker. If you would like an order shipped on your account please specify that when placing the order. Insurance is optional on any order under $1,000 and must be requested. All orders over $1,000 will require insurance, a signature or both. We can work with any constraints and requests to ensure you get the product when you need it.
All returns must be approved by American West Surplus and will be given an RMA number. Orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Customers have 30 days from the date of receiving a product to return it. If an item is damaged, American West Surplus must be notified immediately upon receipt to begin a claim. Items being returned must be packaged to carrier standards to prevent damage. American West Surplus reserves the right to refuse damaged returns. Under certain circumstances; custom build, and specifically agreed upon orders may not permit returns.
American West Surplus is required by law to charge Colorado State Sales Tax. For orders shipped outside of Colorado orders will not be charged sales tax. For orders picked up at our Denver location, Adams County Sales Tax will also be charged. Please contact us for current sales tax rates.
